About us

It all began with a response to the disproportionate minority contacts and the school to prison pipeline. Since its creation in 2007, the goal of the Straight Talk About Community and Consequences (STACC) Diversion Program has been to provide quality intervention assistance to all youths enrolled. Our approach is rooted in identifying and addressing risk factors associated with the youth’s behavior, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to positive change and offering an alternative to criminal prosecution for clients aged 12-22.

Youth intervention and diversion program

The STACC Program is designed and administered in partnership with several social service agencies in South Carolina. Its purpose is to offer qualified juveniles the opportunity to avoid prosecution in the court system. Parents and juveniles attend 12-week life skills classes to successfully complete the program, fostering stronger family units and responsible community members.
